Aire Ancient Baths and a Chocolate-Off

If you’ve read and relate to Buzzfeed’s all too accurate “30 signs you’re almost 30” you  likely agree with me that baths are the new bars. Friday nights are meant  for floating, I’m pretty positive of it. And Aire baths in TriBeCa is a little piece of zen beneath the city, we’re not talking bath houses in the creepy sense.  (Plus there is some seriously decent eye candy, not going to lie).

Yesterday was the day of #treatyoself so addition to floating in salt water and intentionally shocking my body with f-ing freezing cold plunges,  there was a chocolate-off.  I was gifted  2 insane dark chocolates that were my post-float treat (as if i deserved one). I am trying to pick a winner and am totally torn between 1. Fine + Raw‘s sea salt dark chocolate (thanks L) and 2. Hu Kitchens Almond Butter and puffed quinoa (thanks J!!).  Both are pure heaven and great holiday treat options for anyone not fully on the dark-choc bandwagon just yet. This will win them over.

Have you tried either Hu or Fine+Raw’s chocolates? and have you been to a non-creepy (or creepy) bath house before?

First- you are entitled to all the treats. Second- it’s ok to say Hu wins. I think Hu is the weekendy treat and fine and raw more weekday. And marc’s bro likes the Russian bath houses- I think those are in the creepy category stick with your fancy bath. xx
