OK ok,I’ll be honest I didn’t entirely “make” these brussels sprouts though they did make their way to my belly. My friend made them by first cutting the brussels in half and then blanching them (2 mins in boiling water) to tenderize them. Then added crushed almonds and chopped garlic, a drizzling of olive oil and honey, and spiced up with urfa biber chilis (for those with mildly spicy taste buds) and a solid sprinkling of sea salt.
Roast at 350 for 30 mins and voilà, bomb diggity brussels sprouts for days (a bowl of these were my brunch).
